鋼卷應(yīng)放在橡皮墊、墊木、托架等裝置上，捆帶鎖扣應(yīng)朝上，不能直接放在地面上或運輸工具上。為避免產(chǎn)生壓傷，鋼卷通常不堆垛存放。

The steel coils shall be placed on rubber pads, skids, brackets and other devices, and the buckle of the binding belt shall be upward. It cannot be directly placed on the ground or on the transportation tools. To avoid crushing, steel coils are not usually stacked.

若鋼卷需堆垛放置，鋼板堆垛存放時應(yīng)嚴(yán)格限制堆垛層數(shù)（一般建議多2層），并重量和尺寸大的鋼卷放在下面，將重量較輕和體積較小的鋼卷放于上層，防止因擠壓產(chǎn)生變形；且應(yīng)注意上下層鋼帶鎖扣的位置，避免鎖扣受力擠壓造成壓痕。

鋼材的存放應(yīng)當(dāng)遠(yuǎn)離酸、堿、鹽、有機(jī)溶劑等腐蝕性物質(zhì)；彩鋼卷產(chǎn)品應(yīng)存放在干燥通風(fēng)的室內(nèi)環(huán)境中，避免露天存放以及存放在易發(fā)生結(jié)露和溫差變化大的地方。確保防雨、防水、防沾泥、避免鋼卷發(fā)生腐蝕，并避免各種腐蝕性介質(zhì)的侵蝕。

春、夏季節(jié)變換時，冷暖空氣交會，空氣中水分飽和產(chǎn)生凝聚，形成小水珠，俗稱“反潮”或“結(jié)露”。特別是熱帶、亞熱帶及大陸性氣候地區(qū)，溫差越大，越容易出現(xiàn)結(jié)露現(xiàn)象。而鋼卷表面會因為結(jié)露而產(chǎn)生白銹，因此鋼卷溫度低于所處環(huán)境溫度時，應(yīng)禁止拆包。生產(chǎn)完的鋼卷以卷狀存放時間越久，越容易出現(xiàn)外觀和性能的問題。

表面經(jīng)過防銹涂油處理過的熱浸鍍制產(chǎn)品，隨著存放時間的延長，涂油效果會逐漸降低，鋼板表面會漸漸氧化。而彩涂產(chǎn)品表面漆膜的附著性能也會隨著時間的拉長慢慢降低，T彎、杯突、沖擊試驗效果不如之前，影響加工性能。另外，若是長時間存放在高溫或陽光輻照強(qiáng)的環(huán)境下，彩涂產(chǎn)品的漆膜有可能會發(fā)生粉化、顏色變化等。
